The Place

Planet Earth started in 1995 as an art gallery where the 4 directions of the planet intersect in a dynamic center of creative energy. An arena for fine art, performance art, music and poetry offered in a arts-lifestyle shop, where everything, truly speaks with artistic savvy, designed to allow for joy and playfulness...an experience of being alive and in tune with the creative self.

The Topic

Located on beautiful 40 acre property on the Grand Mesa, The Molina Center (TMC) is driven by a highly engaged and committed Board, with a network of volunteers spread throughout the United States who share the vision and give of their time to bring it to a reality.

David Pitman, Executive Director of TMC, is launching a range of interconnected programs with the shared goal of creating a world where access to the resources to create fulfilling, secure and sustainable livelihoods is within the grasp of all people.

Their goal is to assist young mothers and their children at risk of homelessness, chronic poverty, or abuse by providing them training and support to enable them to grow beyond chronic poverty through the use of sustainable living skills and other various vocational skills. The purpose is to ensure that they can go on to lead healthy, productive and fulfilling lives, leaving behind the cycles of poverty and vulnerability.
